Potato Skins clog the sink

I learned my lesson. I'm pretty sure that my mom told me that you shouldn't put potato skins down the sink, but I didn't really think they would. They definitely clogged the sink, so Trent had to unscrew all the plumbing under the sink and pull dirty potato peels out of the pipes. I'm glad he is so handy. He wasn't that happy about it, if you can't tell from the pictures. I fully admit that it was my fault, lesson learned.

HAha! That's so funny because Molly just did the same thing last month. I guess we all learned our lesson about potatoes in the sink.

Good job, Trent! I know your mamma told you about potato skins in the garbage disposal! I think we all have to experience this once to know that it is true! I know I did and your dad had to do the same thing! Love, Mom

The irony is killing me. I did the exact same thing when we moved into our new place in May. Daniel had to do the dirty work and unclog it. But, I don't remember mom telling me not to do it, so I'm off the hook. I really thought you could put potato skins down the disposal. Now I know.

I love the face. I wish I could have been there to watch Trent take the pipes apart.

hahaha yeah for a handy man!!! Don't you just love them?! Good job trent-i-to. I had to do that with a ton of pasta that I tried to stuff down the sink when we first got married and Rex was gone on a vb trip...it totally sucks!

I did that too and I got the same result: clogged sink! Good thing I knew a thing or two about plumbing. I already fixed the problem before my mom arrived home. What a relief! I’m sure my mom would have been very disappointed if I wasn’t able to fix the clogged sink. It really helps to know how to do plumbing!

Really annoying when that happens; like a peeve that gets you from the corner of your eye. It's not just potato skins; its pieces of lettuce, tomatoes, all that stuff. Makes you think of not ever cooking near the sink again heh. But that is that. We really just have to watch out for the litter as soon as possible, before these become a burden in the future.

Even the littlest things can leave a strong and devastating damage. Imagine potato skins clogging your sink. Haha. Good thing you guys got it all fixed. Great job.
